AFC Bournemouth will celebrate their promotion to the premier league with a victory open top bus parade along Bournemouth Seafront on Bank Holiday Monday, 4th May.
Starting at Boscombe Pier at 11.00am the bus will head along the seafront promenade, Undercliff Drive, to just east of Bournemouth Pier.
“The reaction to the bus parade plans have been incredible,” chairman Jeff Mostyn said.
“Reaching the Premier League is a hugely historic moment for the town and we are all so proud of the Club’s very well-deserved success,” chief executive of Bournemouth Council Tony Williams added.
“We look forward to welcoming visitors from some of the Premier League’s biggest clubs to our town next season – and we know our team will go on to show visiting clubs that the Cherries are a force to be reckoned with.”
Thousands of fans are expected to turn out to line the 1.4 mile route and cheer on Eddie Howe’s squad.
The beach will allow some of the best vantage points and fans are encouraged to arrive early along the route to get a good spot.
