Saturday of the 2016 Bournemouth Air Festival is set to be a full on day with plenty of action on the land and in the air.
So what’s in store on day three?
The festival site will open at 10.00am so get down nice and early and peruse the 1.5 miles of trading stands along the seafront between the Bournemouth and Boscombe piers. Here you will also find the Army Village, the Royal Navy Village and the Royal Marines Commando. At Pier Approach you will find the RAF Village which features a mock up of a full size Chinook plus the Red Arrows support team!
Not to be missed is the Royal Navy and Royal Marine Beach Assault which will take place on the beach from 12.30pm. Watch as the Royal Marines storm the beaches and run the vessels ashore, just watch out for the loud bangs and gun shots!
The flying displays start earlier on Saturday but please note aircraft are subject to availability and weather conditions. Flying times may be subject to change. For an up to date flying timetable please purchase a souvenir programme which will allow you access to the online timetable which is updated throughout the event.
