Red and Black Day at AFC Bournemouth for Final Home Match

AFC Bournemouth supporters are encouraged to don club colours for the final home match of the season against Bolton Wanderers as ‘red and black day’ returns.

Tonight, Monday 27th April, AFC Bournemouth are hoping to clinch promotion to the Premier League and as such the club are asking supporters to ensure the Goldsands Stadium is turned into a sea of red and black for the game.

Howe and his players have regularly cited that the supporters have been their twelfth man this season and with the Cherries just two points off the top spot in the Sky Bet Championship, supporters are asked to ensure that not only they bring their voices, but that the colours in the stands matches that on the pitch to create a special atmosphere under the lights.

The club will also be placing flags in certain seats around the ground which supporters are encouraged to hold, and there will also be face-painters on hand to ensure that as much of the stadium as possible is painted red and black.

The team’s final game will be away at Charlton on Saturday 2nd May. Victory in either game will ensure promotion to the Premiership for the first time in the club’s history.
