Get ready boys and girls to “ooh” and ahh” because its fireworks time!

There is something quite magical about these spectacular displays which light up our night-time skies often to the sound of music and accompanying light displays.

From the old-fashioned Catherine Wheels to dazzling, space bound rockets, these displays captivate their audiences’ attention and leave you unwittingly spellbound.

And Bournemouth and Poole certainly know how to put on a show!

Bournemouth Fireworks

The summer fireworks of Summer Breeze and Friday Family Fiesta may have passed but there’s still Bonfire Night to look forward to, and displays take place across the region from October 31st!

Friday 31st October, Swanage and Wareham RFC

A Bonfire and Fireworks Bonanza with a torch lit procession from the crossroads to the rugby club. A guy will then be lit on the bonfire. Plus food stalls, fairground rides and fancy dress. The evening will end with a spectacular fireworks display. 6.00pm till 10.00pm. £5 for adults, with free entry for children.

Saturday 1st November, Stanpit Recreation Ground, Christchurch

An evening of family fun and fireworks organised by the Christchurch Rotary Club.

Gates will open at 5.00pm, with a fancy dress competition following at 5.45pm. The bonfire will be lit at 6.15pm, with a fireworks display at 7.45pm.

Plus live music from a Gugge band, food stalls, face painting and free parking.

Adults £6.00, Children £3.00, Family Ticket £15.00

Saturday 1st November, Parley Country Club, Ferndown

Event starts 5.30pm, bonfire lit at 7.00pm, firework display 8.00pm, disco from 8.30pm until midnight. Burgers, Hot dogs, sweet stall plus much more, children under 14 free, £5 donation per adult.

Saturday 1st November, Corfe Castle

A free fireworks display over Corfe Castle. Organised by The Greyhound Inn there will also be a hog roast, live music and food stalls. From 7.00pm

Saturday 1st November, Bovington Tank Museum

An explosive evening of tank action and fireworks! There will be a vehicle display from the Armoured Trials and Development Unit plus refreshments, traders and free parking.

Gates open at 5.30pm, Bonfire Lit at 6.15pm, Fireworks at 8.00pm.

Adults £5, Children £4, Children under 5 years free. Cash only.

Saturday 1st November, Bere Regis First School

Bere Regis School are holding their biggest ever Bonfire and Fireworks Display. There will be a BBQ, bar, kiddies corner, bucking bronco, music and more!

Gates Open from 5:30pm. Bonfire 6pm, fireworks 7pm.

Adults £5, accompanied children under 16 years go free.

Wednesday 5th November, Poole Quay

Free entertainment on the quayside from 5.30pm followed by a fantastic and free fireworks display at 8.00pm.

There will be street entertainers, hoola hoop workshop, jugglers and fire performances throughout the evening.

Plus there will be a sponsored fire walk on the quay to raise funds for LV=Streetwise.

Wednesday 5th November, Kings Arms, Stoborough

Wareham and Purbeck Young Farmers Club presents The Stoborough Free Big Bonfire & Firework Display at The Kings Arms, Stoborough.

Friday 7th November, Herston Caravan Park, Swanage

A fabulous display provided by Pains Fireworks will be the highlight of the evening, together with a great performance by Voodoo Chilli.

Gates open 7.00pm, Bonfire lit 7:30pm, Fireworks 8:00pm, Voodoo Chilli 8:15pm

Tickets £4, Children over the age of 13 £2, children under 13 go free

Saturday 8th November, Littledown Centre, Chaseside, Bournemouth, BH7 7DX

The Bournemouth Bonfire Night Fireworks will take place on the Saturday following Bonfire Night with a special ‘Remembering 1914′ theme.

There will be three displays at 7.00pm, at 8.00pm and a ‘White Knuckle’ display at 9.00pm. Times may be subject to change due to weather conditions.

In addition to the fireworks there will be a free indoor family zone featuring Taekwondo displays, Avonbourne Gymnastics Club, Crazy Creatures, Kids Disco, Get Set Go Karting and the Heart 102.3 Roadshow with Rich and Zoe.

There will also be a family funfair, licensed bar and refreshments.

Adult £7* (16 years old and over)

Child £5* (Under 3s go for free)

*Prices may be subject to charges.

Please note all under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.

Tickets are available to purchase from the BIC, Littledown Centre, Daily Echo Bournemouth, Richmond Hill and Poole Dolphin Centre. Tickets will also be available to purchase at the gate on the night. However family tickets and discounted tickets are not available on the night.

Gates will open on the night at 5.30pm.

Parking is available on site at the Littledown Centre however please note that this fills up early so you are advised to park elsewhere and walk. 80 specific disabled parking spaces are available at the Littledown Centre on a first come, first served basis.

Saturday 8th November – Wimborne Bonfire and Fireworks Evening

The theme this year, is Science Fiction, so their 15,000+ shot display will be synchonised to some of the most iconic music from the world of space and time fantasy.

Jack FM will be on hand to compere the evening, with many Science Fiction themed games and music to add to what has become one of the leading Fireworks Events in Dorset.

The gates open at 4.30pm and the bonfire will be lit at 6:00pm. The fireworks display will start at 7:00pm.

Adults £5.00, children (5-16) £3.00, under 5′s go free. Family ticket (two adults and two children) £14.00.

Tickets can be purchased from the reception of St Michael’s Middle School between 8.30am and 9.30am in the mornings, and from between 3.30pm and 4.30pm in the afternoons.

Alternatively, tickets will be available from sellers at the school grounds during Saturday 2nd November from around 12 noon.

Tickets can also be purchased from the Wimborne Tourist Information Centre in the town Square during their normal opening hours.

Any remaining tickets – not sold via the pre-booking facility – will be sold on the day.

However, the advance purchase discount will no longer apply and all tickets will attract a £1.00 supplement.

Note: The Family/Group ticket package can only be bought in advance – these are not available on the gate.
