TV show filmed monthly in Bournemouth bar!

Canvas, Bournemouth’s only loft bar, is on a mission to become the region’s answer to Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club. After opening last year with non other than James Morrison, they have an exciting programme of live music planned for the first half of 2016.

But as well as featuring established acts, they are also giving a leg up to unsigned acts.

Britrox ”LIVE AT CANVAS” is a new and exclusive TV show, filmed at Canvas once a month, featuring the best new and local talent. The experienced Britrox team have been using YouTube, Facebook and Twitter for years to promote emerging artists and they now have the platform of television to add to that.

Presented by BBC3’s Southside Story star, Jodie Lea, the show is bound to help put Bournemouth firmly on the map as a hub of musical talent.

Britrox head Paul Wookey is a talent spotter with more than 20 years experience, and connections with big labels such as Universal, Island Records, Warner/Chappel Warner Bros and Sony.

Each showcase takes place on the last Thursday of every month and might feature rock, jazz, soul… It’s a great opportunity to see the next big thing first and, best of all, tickets are free!

The next Britrox showcase takes place February 25 with not one but three acts – The Baker Brothers, Drew Allen and jazz artist Emel Michael!

This show will be broadcast on Sky 212 & 261, Freeview 254, and Filmon TV USA. If you want to be in the audience, contact info@britroxmanagement.com to reserve your space.
