What’s On Day Two – Friday at Bournemouth Air Festival 2017

Day two of the 2017 Bournemouth Air Festival sees some more aircraft displays and a fireworks display, plus some more fantastic live music.

So what’s in store on day two?

Once again the festival site opens at 10.00am with 1.5 miles of trading stands along the seafront between the Bournemouth and Boscombe piers. Here you will also find the Army Village, the Royal Navy Village and the Royal Marines Commando. At Pier Approach you will find the RAF Village which features a mock up of a full size Chinook plus the Red Arrows support team!

The RAF Red Arrows will be holding a meet and greet at the Best Western Royale Hotel in Bournemouth between 11.00am and 12.00pm.

There will be a Beach Assault Rehearsal at 12.30pm featuring The Royal Marines and they will also be demonstrating Unarmed Combat at the Royal Navy village area at 1.30pm.

And don’t miss the Red Devils taking on the PierZip shortly after 1pm.

The flying displays start shortly after 2.00pm on Friday but please note aircraft are subject to availability and weather conditions. Flying times/line up may be subject to change.
