South Lytchett Manor Caravan and Camping Park is an award winning park located approximately 3 miles from Poole and 9 miles from Bournemouth.
Named AA Campsite of the Year 2021, South Lytchett Manor is set in over 20 acres of tranquil parkland on the former Lytchett Manor Estate. The campsite welcomes tents, caravans and motorhomes as well as offering bespoke handmade glamping options. South Lytchett Manor is popular with caravanners and campers alike who often return year after year to enjoy the facilities and the atmosphere of the park.
A family run site, South Lytchett Manor Caravan and Camping Park is set in stunning grounds of flowering plants and mature trees. The caring owners like to maintain plant and animal habitats and encourage birds and other wildlife. They promote a green and sustainable holiday environment and have strong recycling and reduce/reuse ethos.
The site is a member of the Best of British Touring and Holiday Parks Group, which is a group of five star, privately owned parks which are committed to providing the highest level of quality and customer service. The facilities are excellent, modern and clean. Caravanners and motorhomers can enjoy electric or fully serviced hard standing pitches with electric hook-up and TV connections with large pitches available for twin axle vehicles. Campers can enjoy a choice of pitches including super pitches for very large tents as well as the usual electric hook-up and TV connections.
There are 3 amenity blocks – top quality, modern bathroom and toilet buildings, including disabled and family facilities, with shaving sockets, power points and hairdryers, which are cleaned throughout the day to ensure a high standard is maintained. In high season, these are bolstered by two five-star toilet blocks in the camping fields. The site also has a well-stocked shop for all those essentials as well as caravan and camping equipment, local maps and guides. A new Cafe and Bakery provide barista level coffee and Dorset produce, including freshly baked bread and pastries onsite. Food vans visit in high season for local takeaway food options.
If you don’t feel like driving whilst on holiday you will be pleased to know that there is a bus stop outside the main gates with buses running to Poole, Swanage, Weymouth and along the Jurassic Coast. For the more energetic, South Lytchett Manor has a fleet of bicycles on site to hire, so guests can get out and explore the surrounding beautiful Dorset countryside!
