Beach Furniture Hire

On many parts of Bournemouth’s beaches deck chairs, sunbeds, windbreaks and parasols can be hired and the following charges will apply:

Daily hire from 9.00am till 6.00pm, weather permitting.

Deckchairs – £3.00
Sunbeds – £7.00
Parasols – £6.00
Windbreaks – £6.00

Please note that these prices are liable to change at any time. Prices correct April 2017 (Bournemouth Borough Council).

Beach furniture is also available to hire from the Sandbanks Beach office in Poole.

Deckchairs – £5.00 (including £1.50 refundable deposit)
Sunbeds – £10.00 (Including £3 refundable deposit)
Parasols – £10.00 (Including £4 refundable deposit)
Windbreaks – £10.00 (Including £4 refundable deposit)

Beach going wheelchairs can also be hired subject to availability from all seafront offices in Bournemouth. In Poole please contact the Sandbanks Beach Office and they will arrange for one to be available to you at the Poole beach of your choice. Please provide at least 24 hours for wheelchair hire. Please note a refundable deposit will be required.

Those interested in Volleyball will be pleased to know that there are 3 courts available at Boscombe Beach. The courts can either be hired exclusively for you and your friends or join the Pay’N’Play court to mix in with others! Equipment can be borrowed via a deposit scheme from the Seafront Information & Booking Centre.

Meanwhile the Sandbanks Beach Office in Poole has four volleyball kits which you can use for a £25 deposit (fully refundable when the equipment is returned).  The kit includes a net, ball, poles, pegs, a mallet and assembly instructions. To book please call 01202 708181.

Canford Cliffs Beach has a beach soccer pitch, which is used by the England Beach Soccer team. So if you fancy a game of football, balls, nets and corner flags can be borrowed from the Canford Cliffs beach office during the day. Please note that a refundable deposit is required.

Currently you can’t hire buckets and spades so don’t forget them, although there are many beach shops selling them!
