Bournemouth Beaches
On many parts of Bournemouth’s beaches deck chairs, sunbeds, windbreaks and parasols can be hired and charges will apply:
Daily hire from 9.00am till 6.00pm, weather permitting.
Deck chairs – £4.50
Sunbeds – £9.50
Parasols – £8.50
Windbreaks – £8.50

Those interested in Volleyball will be pleased to know that there are 3 courts available at Boscombe Beach. Free of charge on a turn up and play basis outside of BBVC member hours – nets are up May – October. Please note that all Boscombe courts are booked for BBVC members at the following times:
Monday – Thursday: 5pm – 9pm
Saturday & Sunday: 9am – 2pm
Bank holidays: 9am – 2pmNon members can use the courts outside of these times.
Beach going wheelchairs fitted with balloon tyres are available on loan from the beach offices at Bournemouth and Boscombe. With one available from each office between 9:30am to 4:30pm, from May to September, these are loaned on a first come, first served basis in return for a refundable £50 cash deposit.
Poole Beaches
Beach furniture is also available to hire from the Sandbanks Beach office in Poole. They can be contacted on 01202 708181 or via email to beachoffice@bcpcouncil.gov.uk

Volleyball kits are available to hire on a first come, first served basis from Sandbanks, Shore Road and Branksome Chine beach offices. Each kit costs £20 for the day and requires a £30 cash deposit which will be refunded on return of the equipment. The volleyball kit includes a net, a ball, poles, pegs, a mallet and assembly instructions.
Currently you can’t hire buckets and spades so don’t forget them, although there are many beach shops selling them!
