The festival site is open from 10.00am with plenty to see and do on the beach between the Bournemouth and Boscombe piers, up on the East Overcliff and down in the Lower Gardens. The Royal Navy village, located on the beach, has interactive attractions and demonstrations, plus you can meet serving and former personnel and learn more about the navy and its charities. In the Army village, also on the beach, you can get up close to army equipment like the Challenger 2 Main Battle Tank, and meet soldiers who can tell you more about life in the army. Up on the East Overcliff you’ll find the popular RAF Village where you can meet the support teams for the Typhoon, Red Arrows, Battle of Britain Memorial Flight and the Chinook, plus get information about a career in the RAF.
