Bournemouth Air Festival 2021 – What’s On Day Four – Sunday

It’s the final day of the 2021 Bournemouth Air Festival but don’t worry, there’s still a great line up to enjoy!

Firstly as most of you are probably aware a Wingwalker Aircraft crashed yesterday near the Sandbanks Chain Ferry after performing at the festival. Both of the people onboard, the pilot and the wing-walker, were rescued safely and were being treated for minor injuries. Our thanks go out to all the emergency services for their quick response and to those locally who were first on the scene to help. Our best wishes go out to both crew and we wish them a speedy recovery.

But back to today and the final day of the festival. For the last time this year the festival site opens at 10.00am and there is 1.5 miles of trading stands and funfair attractions along the seafront between the Bournemouth and Boscombe piers. Here you will also find the Army Village and the Royal Navy Village where you can find out more about joining, check out their military weapons and vehicles and meet members of the services.

Up on the East Overcliff you will find the Royal Navy Dive Tank, the RAF Village with a static Hawk display and interactive virtual reality experience and, new for 2021, the Atlas Elektronik UK STEM marquee where you will find a number of the region’s high profile companies and experts specialising in various STEM sectors.

The action in the air is due to start at 12.25pm. Please note aircraft are subject to availability and weather conditions. Flying times may be subject to change. For an up to date flying timetable please purchase a souvenir programme which will allow you access to the online timetable which is updated throughout the event.
