The Bournemouth Air Festival is back!
Like many events, it was very much missed last year but, thanks to the hard work and dedication of many, the popular festival is ready to ‘bounce back’ with 4 days of fantastic aircraft and entertainment. The festival site opens at 10.00am and there is 1.5 miles of trading stands and funfair attractions along the seafront between the Bournemouth and Boscombe piers. Here you will also find the Army Village and the Royal Navy Village where you can find out more about joining, check out their military weapons and vehicles and meet members of the services.
Up on the East Overcliff you will find the Royal Navy Dive Tank, the RAF Village with a static Hawk display and interactive virtual reality experience and, new for 2021, the Atlas Elektronik UK STEM marquee where you will find a number of the region’s high profile companies and experts specialising in various STEM sectors.
The action in the air is due to start at 1.25pm. Please note aircraft are subject to availability and weather conditions. Flying times may be subject to change. For an up to date flying timetable please purchase a souvenir programme which will allow you access to the online timetable which is updated throughout the event.
You can also download the Bournemouth Air Festival app for free on iOS and Android, and if you’ve purchased a programme you can access the up dated timetable via the app using your unique code. For more details please visit http://bournemouthair.co.uk/app/
Plus tune into Hot Radio on 102.8FM for commentary throughout the event!
