Bournemouth’s events organisers have announced an additional fireworks display scheduled for Friday 6 September to give families another opportunity to see the night skies lit up in spectacular style along the UK’s best beach*.

The rescheduled display comes as inclement weather has forced the cancellation of the popular Friday Fireworks in recent weeks.
Jon Weaver, Head of Tourism Marketing & Events at BCP Council, said: “The fireworks are a signal of summer on this stretch of the coast and provide great, free entertainment for families who live locally or who are visiting the area. We are, of course, pleased to be able to put on another display, weather permitting, before the season comes to a close.”
The display will start at 10pm and can be viewed from the promenade and clifftops either side of Bournemouth Pier.
