The award category recognises innovation and achievement for projects which aim to benefit the shopping centre catchment area, be it the local or wider community.
Commenting on the announcement, John Grinnell, centre manager at the Dolphin Shopping Centre, said:
“The whole Dolphin team are over the moon to have won this prestigious global award – which are like the Oscars of the shopping centre world. Our determination to make the Dolphin Shopping Centre as sustainable as possible is an ongoing and continued effort by the team and so it’s brilliant to have all our hard work and effort recognised on such a big stage.”
The Eco Hub, launched in 2018, is a free community space that customers and local organisations can use in a variety of ways and has already made a significant contribution to the Dolphin Centre’s commitment to sustainability.
The ICSC Awards ceremony took place in London on Wednesday 25th
September.
The Eco Hub is located in the lower mall of the centre. It is open during the centre’s regular opening hours and is free to use. Email info@dolphinshoppingcentre.co.uk with any booking enquiries.
