Get Active in 2022 with BH Live and AXA Health Bournemouth Bay Run

Social enterprise and charitable trust BH Live is delighted to be returning as one of the key supporters for the 2022 AXA Health Bournemouth Bay Run.

In partnership with BCP Council, BH Live manages several leisure centres across Dorset and Hampshire, including Bournemouth’s Littledown, Stokewood and Pelhams. Getting more people active for improved health and wellbeing is one of its charitable aims so supporting and having a presence at this much-loved community event is a great fit for BH Live.

Taking place on Sunday 3 April 2022 the AXA Health Bournemouth Bay Run encompasses Bournemouth’s iconic landscape and beachfront, with race distances to suit runners of all levels. BH Live Active’s instructors will be leading the all-important race warm-ups for each of the four events and their outreach team in the Lower Gardens will be offering lots of tips and advice about preparing and training for events like this.

Preparation, for both mind and body, is key to completing a fitness challenge, and BH Live Active’s team can help get people at all levels of fitness to get ready for the Bay Run this year. Experienced and friendly health and fitness instructors, personal goal setting, health reviews and support are underpinned by high quality gym facilities, swimming pools and daily group exercise classes to promote flexibility, strength, endurance and mindfulness.

Whether people want to train for the event, or make a long-lasting positive lifestyle change, BH Live’s outreach team will be on hand on race-day to discuss the best membership and pay as you go options available.
