Following an impressive array of entries from talented young artists across the Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole (BCP) area, RockReef is delighted to announce that 12-year-old Izabela Kaczynska has won the 10th Birthday Mascot Challenge. Her creative and bold design perfectly captures RockReef’s adventurous spirit and will become the new face of our 10th birthday celebrations.
Izabela’s mascot design stood out for its vibrant colours and unique features that will help encourage bravery and fun in our young visitors. To celebrate her achievement, Izabela will enjoy a year of free Clip’n Climb sessions at RockReef. She’s also been awarded a spot at Arts University Bournemouth’s (AUB) Saturday Art School, where she can further nurture her artistic talents.
Additionally, the top entries, including Izabela’s winning design, will be on display at a special AUB-curated exhibition hosted at RockReef. We’re grateful to our distinguished judges, including Violet McClean from AUB, James Johnson of the Daily Echo, and Councillor Andy Martin from BCP Council, who had the challenging task of selecting our winner from so many amazing entries.
