The Rock Orchestra is bringing its explosive new production, Arena of Fire, to Bournemouth International Centre on Saturday 10 October 2026 at 8pm, as part of its 2026 UK arena tour.
Following back-to-back tours across the USA and Europe, the internationally acclaimed ensemble returns to Bournemouth for an ambitious new show combining classical musicianship with the power and energy of legendary rock and metal.
Having performed more than 400 shows across multiple continents and captivated more than half a million fans worldwide, The Rock Orchestra has built a reputation for giving familiar rock anthems a dramatic orchestral transformation. Arena of Fire takes that concept to arena scale, adding spectacular pyrotechnics, dramatic lighting, large-scale visuals, fire performers and a full choir.

At the centre of the production is a 14-piece ensemble of classical musicians and vocalists, bringing a darker, cinematic sound to some of rock and metal’s most recognisable songs. Fire performers including The Fuel Girls add another theatrical element to the performance, creating a striking combination of live music, fire and visual effects.
The setlist spans generations of rock and metal, with orchestral interpretations of tracks including Zombie by The Cranberries, Bring Me To Life by Evanescence, Nothing Else Matters by Metallica and Paint It Black by The Rolling Stones. The show also features music from Motörhead, AC/DC, Pantera, Linkin Park, System of a Down, Iron Maiden, Guns N’ Roses, My Chemical Romance, Papa Roach and more.
The Rock Orchestra’s growing reputation was further cemented in November 2025 when its debut album, Classics Vol. 1, reached number one on the Official UK Rock & Metal Albums Chart, ahead of major-label releases including Florence + The Machine.
Nathan Reed, Creative Director and Producer, The Rock Orchestra, said:
“Arena of Fire is the most explosive version of The Rock Orchestra we’ve ever created. We’ve taken the scale and emotion of our orchestral arrangements and built a huge arena experience around them, with fire, pyrotechnics, incredible performers including The Fuel Girls, and a full choir driving the power of the music. It’s dramatic, intense and completely immersive. We want audiences to feel the energy of rock and metal on a huge cinematic scale.”
For Bournemouth audiences, the result promises a very different kind of night at the BIC, where classical precision meets the raw energy of some of rock and metal’s biggest anthems in a dramatic arena production.
