COVID-19: Land Trains will run daily from 17 May 2021 with a limited express service from Bournemouth Pier (East) to Boscombe Pier only.
One of the best ways to appreciate the beauty of Bournemouth’s stunning beaches is to sit back and relax on one of the famous land trains as it takes a leisurely journey alongside the seafront.
You can travel along the promenade from Bournemouth Pier East as far as Manor Steps and the Bournemouth Beach Lodges, returning via Boscombe Precinct and Gardens over the East Overcliff.
Or head in the other direction from Bournemouth Pier to Branksome Chine in Poole.
Heading east there are stops at Bournemouth Pier (East), East Cliff Lift, Toft Zigzag, Boscombe Precinct (opposite McDonalds), Boscombe Pier, East Overcliff Drive and Russell Cotes Art Gallery & Museum.
When heading west there are stops at Bournemouth Pier (west), West Cliff Lift, Durley Chine, Middle Chine, Alum Chine and Branksome Chine. Please note that some stops are request stops.
Trains depart daily (April to October) and during school holidays as well as on weekends throughout the winter.

Adult Single ticket (16 yrs+) £3.30 per ticket
Family Single ticket £10.00 per ticket
Junior Single ticket (5-16 yrs) £2.30 per ticket
Under 5s / Carers Free
Pay when you board the train.

The trains have accessible facilities for wheelchair users and a small storage area for pushchairs.
