    City Cruises Poole offer daytime and evening cruises which operate daily from Poole Quay on Dorset’s premier vessel The Solent Scene

    Enjoy a two hour non landing coastal cruise or a day cruise from Poole Quay and sail along the magnificent coastline with the mighty cliffs of Ballard Down and Old Harry Rocks to bustling Swanage Pier. If you have a bit longer time, why not explore the charming Victorian resort and take a picnic to Durlston Country Park or the award-winning Steam Railway to Corfe Castle.

    Alternatively enjoy a boat trip through Poole Harbour, Europe’s largest natural Harbour. You will pass the beautiful beaches and bays of the Harbour and around the islands, cruising close to Brownsea Island and its castle and viewing the famous houses at Sandbanks.

    During School holidays there are fireworks displays along the coastline. Join City Cruises Poole for a fantastic cruise through Poole’s magnificent harbour, enjoy a drink or two from their bar and relax under the stars before enjoying the best view of the stunning fireworks display from the sea!

    City Cruises Poole also offer trips from Bournemouth. You will take a sightseeing bus from Bournemouth to Poole, with a detailed commentary on route showing points of interest including the lovely Lilliput and famous houses at Sandbanks. On arrival at Poole Quay you will join one of their vessels to enjoy a cruise through beautiful Poole Harbour and along the start of the Jurassic Heritage Coast over to Swanage.

    Shipwreck Cruise – Every Wednesday June and July
    Departing in front of the City Cruises Poole red kiosk at 15:00 for a 1 hour tour of Poole Museum. Followed by a Cruise around Poole Harbour, departing from Poole quay at 16:15 (duration 90 minutes)
    Start your trip with a visit to Poole Museum and see for yourself remarkable artefacts recovered from the seabed and more. Following a guided tour join City Cruises Poole for a 90 minute cruise which will take you past Old Harry’s Rocks and around Poole Harbour. While on board watch a presentation given by a maritime archaeologist about the Iron Age Poole Log boat, medieval Studland Bay Wreck, 17th century Swash Channel Wreck and the WWII Valentine DD Tanks which sunk in the area.
