Greenslade Pleasure Boats offer boat trips from Poole Quay to Brownsea Island, Wareham and around the harbour and along the coast.
Boats depart from Poole Quay from 10.00am and then every half hour throughout the day.
Greenslade Pleasure Boats have been providing boat trips and pleasure cruises since 1970 and now operate three boats, each capable of holding between 150 to 179 people.
The Purbeck Princess has an open top viewing deck with 122 seats and a large lower saloon area, which has some seating and tables, a bar and toilet facilities. She is capable of carrying 179 passengers and is the largest in the fleet.
The Purbeck Pride is slightly smaller than her sister ship, with a capacity of 157. This boat also has an open seated top deck with 100 seats plus a lower saloon area with tables and seating, a bar and toilets.
Finally the Purbeck Gem has an open top viewing deck with 75 seats and a lower saloon area with more seating. This vessel is used for the Wareham River cruises as the river is shallow in places.
Enjoy a full pleasure cruise around the harbour. Trips run every half hour and you’ll get to see all five islands, the Dorset Lakelands and views over to the Isle of Purbeck, with full on-board commentary included.
Brownsea Island is the largest island in Poole Harbour and is a beautiful nature reserve owned by the National Trust. Greenslade Pleasure Boats offer a leisurely 20 minute boat trip to the island. The return trip takes a little longer, about 40 to 45 minutes and includes a mini cruise around the harbour.
The Wareham River cruise is a relaxing boat trip along the picturesque River Frome to the historic town of Wareham. It takes approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes to reach Wareham where you will then have just over an hour ashore to do what you like before returning back to Poole. All in all the duration of this boat trip is 3 ½ hours. Teas, coffees, wine, beer and snacks are all available on board the boat.
