Hamworthy Park beach is a traditional seaside park set in 26 acres on the Northern shore of Poole Harbour.
This quaint little beach is the perfect escapism from the busier and more popular beaches around the other side.
Offering some spectacular views over the harbour including Brownsea Island, Green Island and Round Island as well as the Arne Peninsula and the Purbeck Hills, this really is a little hideaway gem! It is even possible to see Corfe Castle on a clear day.
There is a small promenade which runs parallel to the sandy beach with approximately 100 traditional beach huts, with some available to hire direct from their owners.
And those keen on watersports will also be pleased to hear that there is a windsurfing and kite surfing launch area.
Behind the beach is a large grassy area complete with a popular children’s playing area, outdoor fitness equipment and paddling pool.
And when it all gets a bit much there is is a cafe providing refreshments!
Finally there is a car park for approximately 40 cars and the beach is doggy friendly so your trusted friend can come along too!
