To showcase Bournemouth’s fantastic workforce, Town Centre Business Improvement District has launched a new digital campaign, #BournemouthHeroes. Throughout summer 2018, Make It Bournemouth Facebook page will become a platform where business representatives, as well as the wider public, are invited to highlight the exceptional individuals who work in Bournemouth.
Businesses across the town centre area as well as visitors are encouraged to get creative, featuring their #BournemouthHeroes in one-minute long videos, shot on iPhone or Android devices. The videos will promote outstanding individuals, whose skill and passion for what they do make Bournemouth a great place to live, work and study in. Participants will need to upload the videos to Town Centre BID’s Facebook page, Make It Bournemouth, where a judging panel will decide which ones will be shared.
All uploads will be entered in a monthly competition. The winner will be chosen by public votes through likes, comments and shares on the videos, plus a group of judges from Town Centre BID. The monthly winners will receive a selection of special prizes, including luxurious L’Occitane goodie bags.
