What’s On at Bournemouth Air Festival 2018 – Day Three Saturday

Day three of the festival is set to be the busiest so make sure you get down early to reserve your favourite spot!

The festival site opens at 10.00am with 1.5 miles of trading stands along the seafront between the Bournemouth and Boscombe piers. Here you will also find the Army Village and the Royal Navy Village. At Pier Approach you will find the RAF Village which features a static Typhoon and interactive virtual reality experience plus the Red Arrows support team! Plus out in the bay is HMS Diamond, why not book an anchorage tour out to see her?

The action in the air is due to start at 12.00pm with the RAF Red Arrows kicking things off. Please note aircraft are subject to availability and weather conditions. Flying times may be subject to change. Royal Marines Demonstration: 11.30am

The Royal Marines Unarmed Combat demonstration is set to take place at 11.30am on the beach.

A Very Vintage Weekend: 11.00am till 6.00pm

On East Overcliff it’s ‘A Very Vintage Weekend’ celebrating everything vintage! There will be stalls selling a range of vintage merchandise, vintage vehicles and of course vintage music and dancing! There will be live singers and bands throughout the day starting at 11.00am and finishing at 6.00pm.

Bournemouth Gardens Entertainment: 6.00pm till 9.00pm

There will be family entertainment in the Lower Gardens from 6pm until 9.00pm including Incredible Faces Face Painting, Jamie Jambo, Liberty’s Centre Birds of Prey and Simon Chainey Fire Performances. Plus do not miss the Royal Marines Unarmed Combat demonstration at 6.30pm, also in the lower gardens.

Live Music: 6.15pm till 10.00pm

There will be live music on the Bournemouth Stage from ‘Greg Johnson’ at 6.15pm followed by ‘U2 2’ at 8.00pm.

Fireworks: 10.00pm

Catch the fireworks display from Bournemouth Pier at 10.00pm.
