Beer and Bluegrass returns for its 6th successful year, with a host of top quality International Folk, Bluegrass and Americana acts on bill. The Festival is set in the secluded grounds of Victoria School with the main stage set within a natural amphitheatre, surrounded by woodland and with the stunning ‘Claremont’ a Victorian convent in the background. It is ideally situated between the towns of Poole and Bournemouth and just 2 minutes from Branksome Rail Station and Poole Road bus routes.
Already included are Todd Day Waite ( USA ) the Fierce Flowers ( France )
Irelands, Daoiri Farrell ( Ireland ) and Jim Ghedi and Toby Hay ( UK ) and
Pearl Fish (UK) which many more to be announced.
Many of these artists will join together on stage, singing and playing ‘Bluegrass Style’ around a single microphone to close each evening. The results are breathtakingly unique, adding a very special atmosphere to the Festival.
If the packed musical line up were not enough there is a Real Ale and Cider Festival, with handpicked selection of 75 of the very best of Real Ales and Ciders from top craft brewers across the British Isles. If you are feeling hungry, there are homemade Burgers and Sausages from Wimborne’s Keating’s on Friday and Saturday sees the return of the Double Hog Roast from our Somerset Farmers and also home cooked vegetarian and vegan food. So no need to bring the Hamper!
