Get into the community spirit and join BCP Council over the bank holiday weekend of 6 – 8 May at Baiter Park, Poole.
Over this weekend, BCP Council are encouraging everyone to get in the community spirit and come together to watch the events that mark this historic occasion.
On Saturday 6 May, the official Coronation Service at Westminster Abbey will be streamed live through the screen.
The ever-popular Jamie Jigsaw will be out and about entertaining all ages with his balloon models, stilt walking and juggling from 11am-5pm. Live music will keep everyone in a celebratory mood from 2.20pm with the acoustic songwriter, storyteller through music, and international touring musician Jinder, ready to entertain and celebrate the King’s Coronation. He will be followed by David Mein at 3.20pm, playing classics from the Beatles to OASIS and much more! And at 4.20pm you can rock out listening to Emma Hardy’s rock and pop classics.
On Sunday 7 May, bring a picnic to this location as part of the Coronation Big Lunch in a nationwide act of celebration and friendship, then later, enjoy the music on the big screen which will be showing the special Coronation Concert that’s taking place at Windsor Castle.
