Bournemouth’s First Free May Day Balearic Beach Party Premiere beachfront terrace café and bar to host the most anticipated day party of the summer!
The brainchild of Bournemouth’s very own tech and deep house DJ and promoter, Jethro Watson, this inaugural May Day Beach Party will be hosted at Bournemouth’s most stylish beachfront terrace café and bar, Westbeach, on Bank Holiday Monday 7th May from 1pm until 9pm.
DJ Jethro Watson said, “Bournemouth has been crying out for a daytime Balearic beach party with great house music since I can remember and I can’t think of a better venue than Westbeach. It’s unrivalled stunning beachfront views and sun-drenched terrace has all the makings of the perfect beach party. Plus, we are fortunate enough to be showcasing Bournemouth’s finest DJs and percussionist, the likes of which hasn’t been seen before. And thanks to Cartel Clothing, Fusion Wi-Fi, Krafted and Void, this event will be free so we’re expecting a big crowd!”
Local DJs playing at the event include Jethro Watson, Damaged Disko, Dave Hornby, James Herkes, Joe Kelly, Luke Anthony, Luke Dubyah, Mike Swaine, Paul Sawyer, Simon Sinfield and Tim Byham, plus a live PA from Shawn Mallet and live percussion from John Spencer.
The event will also be streamed live online thanks to Southampton’s Goat Shed streaming service.
Following similar successful events in Ibiza and London, the organisers are hopeful that this is the first of many Beach Party’s to be held at Westbeach. Watson continues, “Bournemouth has the UK’s most spectacular coastline and home to some of the most talented DJs and musicians in the country so we should be making the most of it. We hope that with the support of the local community, we will be in a position to make this Beach Party a regular event, one that our town can be proud of and richly deserves.”
