The Float to Live Festival helps to raise money for Poole Lifeboats and takes place on Saturday 8th March in Poole with events throughout the day for the whole family to enjoy:
Heroes of the sea – outside the Dolphin Centre – children friendly event aimed at 5-11yrs there will be live music, free face painting and hands-on activities. Learn about the story of Poole Lifeboats from 11am-3pm!
Pirates of Poole Bay – Falkland Square – 11am-3pm-designed to raise awareness and support for our local heroes with live performances of sea shanty bands and games for all!
Lifeboat to Cairo – Swann Inn – 6pm-10pm – featuring a Madness Tribute band and a DJ all the way down from London Town, alongside many games and raffle prizes to be won!
Tide & Taps – La Mia’s Restaurant – 5pm-10pm – pirate themed evening of music, celebration and silliness. 2 for £12 cocktails from 5pm! Live DJ – the infamous sea shanty band Purbeck Storm and the incredible Psychedelic-Rock band The Surfin’ Birds!!
