Half Term at Corfe Castle

Corfe Castle

Come explore the ruins of Corfe Castle this half term and take part in a variety of family fun events:

The Great Escape and Castle Quest:
Can you help one of our poor knights flee the clutches of King John? Bring your own brave teddy to the rescue and help one of our knights escape down the zip wire from the Castle Keep.
Daily throughout half term.

Wild Green Tales:
Join professional storyteller Martin Maudsley on a walking tour of environmental stories around the castle grounds, all brought to life in the great outdoors.

Warwolf II Missile Launch:
Witness a missile launch from Corfe Castle’s resident trebuchet (medieval siege engine). Come and see how far the missiles will go!
Every day during half-term at 11.15am, 12.30pm and 2pm.

Steel, Fire and Stone of the English Civil War:
Become a Royalist recruit and discover the weapons and armour used during the sieges of Corfe in 1643 and 1645.

Normal admission charges apply. 10.00am till 4.00pm daily.

Children are welcome accompanied by a responsible adult
Dogs on leads are welcome.
Please be aware that there are steps, steep slopes and uneven paths in the castle. There is wheelchair access to the outer bailey.
