Each year Lighthouse Holistic Festival, Dorset’s Health and Well Being Show brings together a wonderful array of around 110 interesting stands to explore, including therapies to try and advice to improve health and well-being.
Organiser Elaine Fenton says that the 2019 event is set to be an unforgettable, magical experience for visitors.
As well as the myriad of stands, with exhibitors travelling from all across the UK, there are also some fascinating workshops, talks and performances to enjoy. For example, why not come along and try some Daoist Qi Gong with Lydia Edwards or learn to play Native American style flute with Cloudsong. Maybe find out about how colour can affect your lives with Colour Guru Dawn Scott, or experience the wonderful session ‘Vibrations to Heal the Mind, Body and Emotions’ with professional therapists and musicians, Sounds Perfect. Maybe you’d like to attend one of the mediumship demonstrations which are happening throughout the weekend, experience a yoga session or get advice on how to create a happier healthier life with Geri Henderson – the choices and experiences on offer hold something for everyone, including activities for children!
Lighthouse is Poole’s main entertainment and arts complex, and is a fitting backdrop to the festival. It’s easily accessible and if you are travelling from further afield and there are good places to stay nearby.
Elaine says, ‘This will be the event’s sixth year at the iconic Lighthouse and we look forward to welcoming more visitors than ever. The daytime programme is now live on the event website… alongside with details of the fantastic clairvoyance evening show on Saturday 9th February featuring the effervescent Patrick Gamble, Greg Smith, Oscar Villegas, Jonathan Brown and Gemma Stacey – with guest appearance of Britain’s Got Talent Semi Finalist, the amazing singer/songwriter Gracie Wickens Sweet. The whole weekend is truly unmissable!
