From 13th November 2025 to 4th January 2026, the beloved ice rink in Bournemouth’s Lower Gardens will feature a brand-new layout, enhanced facilities and the longest real ice rink in the UK, stretching 70 metres.
What’s new for 2025?

- Improved facilities: A separate skate-hire marquee complete with its own toilets and queuing area, to make gearing up smoother and more comfortable.

Toddler Time
Join SKATE Bournemouth on weekday mornings for Toddler Time! 1 adult, 1 child and 1 skate aid for just £23.00 (normally £32.50). Skate Aids
The ‘Sled’ skate aid allows younger ones a more sure-footed experience. Pre-booking is advised. Additional £5.00
Family Tickets
Skating with the family? Take advantage of the discounted family ticket for £50.50, valid for 2 adults and 2 under 18’s or 1 adult and 3 under 18’s. *Skate Aid’s are not included with this ticket. Add them on for an additional £5.00 when booking.

SKATE Bournemouth is open to everyone, there is no minimum age limit however under 12’s must be accompanied by an adult and for little ones the suggested age is 2 as they need to be confident on their feet and they also need to fit into skates!
Wheelchair users are welcome to participate in any skating session, however, please keep in mind that if it is raining, the wheels on an electric wheelchair may not function properly.

Bookings can be made online at www.iceskatebournemouth.co.uk/tickets. The rink is open every day (excluding Christmas Day) from 13th November 2025 until 4th January 2026.
