The sixth Poole Harbour Boat Show will return in 2020, taking place from 12th till 14th June and featuring a marina of over 200 exhibitors and quayside stalls set to attract more than 20,000 visitors.
The 2020 Show, which is now second only to Southampton Boat Show in the UK, has exciting plans including the addition of a Seafood Festival which will showcase local produce taken from waters around the region.
Of particular importance, the key themes for the 2020 show, will be safety and the environment.
Other plans include delivering the most captivating on water displays, an attempt to break a Guinness World Record and a marine careers showcase.
The show has played a key role in getting new people out on the water by providing free taster sessions and this will continue in 2020. The historic steam ship Shieldhall, the largest passenger steamship still active in Northern Europe, will be moored alongside Poole Quay with free of charge access to the public for the duration of the show. All show visitors will have the opportunity to enter a competition to win a pair of tickets for the return cruise on Monday 15th June.
The Lightning Bolts Army Parachute Display Team are set to perform a spectacular display (weather permitting) on Saturday 13th June at 17:40.
And once again there will be two nights of spectacular fireworks on Poole Quay with displays starting at 21:45 on Friday 12th and Saturday 13th June.
