It’s time to take the fight to cancer at Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life.
This year, for the first time, Cancer Research UK is inviting everyone in the area – women, men and children – to join the Race for Life. They’re urging mums, dads, nans, grandpas, brothers, sisters, friends and workmates to show their support by joining the Race for Life. It’s a perfect example of everyday people doing an extraordinary thing – uniting in a common cause to beat cancer.
You don’t have to be sporty to take part. You don’t need to train or compete against anyone else. All you need to do is go to the Race for Life website, pick an event, sign up and then have fun raising money in whatever way you like.
Join them by taking part in Race for Life in Poole. With 5k or 10k options, these events are for all ages and abilities and you can run, walk or even dance your way around the course.
The Poole route is beautiful. It takes in the sights of Poole Park, Whitecliff Recreational Ground and Harbourside. It is flat throughout so is lovely and gentle. Dogs are welcome at this event. With local supporters cheering you on, you are sure to have a great experience.
The race takes place on Sunday 16th June at 11.00am.
Young Adult: £14.99
Under 6 entry (Girls and boys): free and no registration needed
The entry fee covers the cost of organising and running your event on the day. It does not contribute towards your sponsorship total, so please try and raise as much as you can to help Cancer Research UK’s life-saving work.
