The Runton Road Christmas Lights switch on happens on the second Saturday in December, this year being the 13th of December.
The residents of Runton Road, Branksome, Poole have been lighting up for Christmas for over 20 years!
The Runton Road Christmas Lights will remain on throughout the festive period. They begin coming on usually between 4.30pm and 5.00pm and begin going off at 10.00pm so the children that live in the road can get to sleep. Of course please remember that people live and work in this road!
Runton Road is a Cul-De-Sac so it gets very busy with traffic turning. Visitors are asked to park at the bottom of the road or along another road and walk up.
And please bring your spare change as there will be collection boxes raising money for local charities.
