Shine bright for someone special at Twilight Walk to support everyone impacted by breast cancer.
As the sun sets and skies turn pink, get ready to glow in neon clothes and sparkly accessories with people across Dorset on the dazzling Twilight Walk – a celebration of hope and support for those impacted by breast cancer in the region!
Breast cancer affects everyone and everybody with around 55,000 women and 400 men are diagnosed with breast cancer every year. That’s roughly 1 in 7 women in the UK who will develop breast cancer in their lifetime.
The Twilight Walk, taking place on Friday 15 May 2026, is a chance to honour the strength and resilience of those facing a breast cancer journey and step out to support these services at University Hospitals Dorset.
This is an opportunity to celebrate someone special impacted by breast cancer and make a real difference by signing up for a charity 3km, 5km or 10km walk or run – solo or with friends – along the gorgeous Bournemouth seafront as the sun sets.
Think vibrant outfits, glittery accessories and a whole lot of electric community energy as we walk together for mums, relatives, best mates, beloved community members and everyone who has been touched by breast cancer.
Now’s the time to message the friend circle, grab some glow sticks, break out the neon gear and create a radiant display of support for people impacted by breast cancer in our community at the Twilight Walk.
Sign up today to make things brighter for those living with and after breast cancer in our region: https://www.uhdcharity.org/twilightwalk/
